For now, there’s denim and gin to discuss.

Take heed of Northern Grade, a two-day pop-up that’s peddling a bunch of obscenely attractive made-in-the-USA wearables (plus some tasty snacks). It’s all happening this Saturday and Sunday at the Design District Market.

This roving love letter to America is making its first appearance in Dallas. Stag Provisions is playing host, so that’s good. And besides Stag, you’ve got a couple dozen brands hawking shirts, pants, shoes and other things to acquaint yourself with. Just think of the possibilities...

You could probably use a nice go-anywhere bag from Moore & Giles.

And you wouldn’t say no to some rugged Chippewa boots.

You’ll want some kind of handsome accessory from Pierrepont Hicks, we’re sure of it.

Handmade selvage jeans from Traveller Denim, of course.

Functional wrist decorations from Weiss Watch Company. Yep, great for telling time.

And a quality haircut inside the Fly Barbershop Airstream... well, that’s just convenient.

That should be plenty to get you started. But just in case, there will be pizza and meat pies for eating and DJs for music. Brooklyn Gin will be there, too. They make gin.

Truth in advertising.
