A Quiet Café for Your Morning Wine

Don’t be fooled by the coffee front. This cozy brick-and-wood hangout is slinging beers and wines (and some necessary breakfast tacos) as early as 6:30am.
Why you might be here: Coffee at your kitchen table isn’t an option this weekend.
What you’ll be drinking: An earthy pinot noir. Decaf.

A Lively Haven for Breakfast Beers

At night, it’s a karaoke wonderland. At 7am, it’s a surprisingly lively spot with a bunch of graveyard-shift regulars playing erotic photo hunt and drinking domestics.
Why you might be here: Your night never ended.
What you’ll be drinking: PBR. Bud Light if you’re feeling fancy.

STARLIGHT LOUNGE

The Dive Bar Time Forgot

It looks like nothing has changed here in decades. Well, except the price of the beer. It’s great for those mornings when you just want to shoot pool and wake up to Steely Dan on the jukebox.
Why you might be here: You’re on the lam.
What you’ll be drinking: Pitchers of Budweiser.

THE OLD CROW

A Sleepy Den for AM Shots

Inside the glass doors, you’ll find a couple pool tables, a scratched-up bar top and some really dim lighting. But the beer’s cold, and napping at the bar seems acceptable.

What you’ll be drinking: Shot of Old Crow bourbon with a Pearl Light back.

A Well-Worn Bar That’s BYOL

This tucked-away dive is dark and cramped, with booths that barely hold four people, so, you know, travel light. Also great: their liberal bring-your-own-liquor policy.
Why you might be here: Your stocking was stuffed with a bottle of whiskey.
What you’ll be drinking: That bottle of whiskey.
