Primo’s Tex-Mex Grille

Big Tex

Hey, Primo’s Is Back

Everyone loves a good comeback story.

Your NCAA underdog victories.

Your economic bounce backs.

Your tacos...

Especially your tacos.

You can get those at Primo’s Tex-Mex Grille. The Uptown staple that closed in late 2013 has returned with new owners and a new location. It’s now open in the Design District, and it looks like this.

The same guys who restored Sfuzzi are responsible for resuscitating this place, too. Which proves that you can’t keep a good spot down. And that some people are more industrious than others.

And while you used to go to Primo’s for chips and salsa and tacos and margaritas, you’ll now visit for... exactly the same reason. So that worked out nicely.

First thing you’ll notice: it’s big. And they’re using that real estate wisely, with a considerable black bar, large leather booths and a couple pool tables. Those are regular size.

So amble by after work for fajitas and margaritas. Stroll through pre-Mavs-game for brisket tacos and Mexican beers. Saunter to the patio for lunch and sunshine.

You could also try moseying.
