If this weather makes you want to curl up on the couch with a good electronic book, by all means.

But if it makes you want to curl up in a booth with a good Reuben sandwich... then we can help.

Find reprieve inside of Dish, the second coming of the Cedar Springs original, now open on Hillcrest for all your lunch, dinner and drinks needs.

Things are a bit different this time around. For starters, it looks like this. But also:

It’s bright and airy in here. You can thank the big windows and open kitchen. Plus the gray, high-backed booths and the white bar. Go ahead and stay all day.

Your chef is Andrew Bell. He probably cooked you something delicious at Bolsa. Now he’s working here, though. Hence our bringing it up.

The menu got an update. It still has favorites like the bourbon-marinated pork chops. But you’ve got some new options (a Reuben, a primavera flatbread) and new drinks, too, including the scotch-spiked and delightfully named Pete Sporting Camo. (See the menu.)

They’re doing lunch now. So that’s nice. Especially if you get hungry during the middle of the day.

Hey, it could happen.
