Cinco de Mayo Is Two Days Longer This Year

Two big Cinco-related coincidences: 1) Big Star/Dove’s Luncheonette are giving you a gratis breakfast taco to celebrate the fact that they’ll serve breakfast tacos now, and 2) Rojo Gusano is throwing a three-day indoor/outdoor party involving live music, Cuban-style pig roasts, tacos and mezcal. We may have misused the word “coincidences.”

At Loews: It’s called the Traveller Bar (pictured), and it’s a fleeting, four-seat ode to the golden age of cocktails.

So maybe you go to both.
