Let's Get Small
Tiny Lounge Returns

There's nothing better than an evening spent with old friends rehashing good times. Unless, of course, you'd like to make even better ones.

To that end, let us re-introduce Tiny Lounge. After two years on the nightlife sidelines, it reemerges Wednesday in a spectacular new Lincoln Square home. (It's not so tiny anymore, either.)

You first fell in love with this place when it was an aptly named cocktailing den discreetly tucked under the Addison Brown Line stop. With its long libation list and snug booths, it soon became a reliable first-date spot—until the Brown Line expansion sent it packing.

But Tiny's made good use of the time off—and additional space: You'll find more of the classics it was famous for (Pisco Sours, Sazeracs, Bronx Cocktails), about 50 more international beers, wine served by the bottle and, later this month, a menu of sharable delights that more than meets your grown-up palate (Surf and Turf Tacos, braised short-rib cassoulet, steamed mussels).

Still, down deep, we're pretty sure this place has the same heart. The low-slung mid-century furniture and grassy colors bespeak the same effortless cool. And the booths—reclaimed from the original space—say something else:

Welcome back.
