We've had a nice run with the warm weather this week, but all signs tell us there's another cool breeze
about to blow. Take comfort knowing Uniform has reduced all fall/winter lines still in house to 50% off,
which means you can do a little last-minute stocking up on outerwear, coats and hoodies. You can never have
too many hooded garments.
As part of Boston's seven-day tribute to the low-temped beauty that is Iceland, Rustic Kitchen is hosting a
famed chef from Reykjavik who'll be creating an asparagus-heavy menu starring salted cod, salmon and plenty
of molecular gastro-wizardry. As far as we know, Icelandic asparagus has the same effect as American
asparagus.

Celebrating the little guy making his way up the beer ladder is in our blood in Boston. (It's probably also
in our livers.) So if you head to Ball Square Fine Wines on Saturday, you can savor samples of more than 40
different microbrews (People's Pint, Berkshire, Port Brewing Co.). Imbibe all of them for a healthy 80
ounces on the house.
What if we told you Boston's best and brightest young bar gods were facing off on Sunday, and you were
invited. Well, that's what's happening. Drink slingers from Deep Ellum, Eastern Standard, Craigie on Main
and Green Street will present you with their tastiest craft drinks, with free punch and passed apps like
Swedish Meatballs and Tuna Tartare. Monday might be tough, but it'll be worth it.

Known for a killer burger, the Metropolitan Club turns its gaze to the feathered protein on Sunday with the
triumphant return of its Chicken Dinner Sundays poultry-athon. You'll choose your chicken
treatment—buttermilk-fried, barbecued or whole roasted—as well as a strong running mate (mac and cheese
or waffles). They'll even throw in a salad, but unfortunately you can't get that buttermilk-fried.
