The weekend thinks the Pats should try harder next year.
THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT
Half-Off Apps at Ecco
It's been a long week, and it's not quite over yet. Luckily tomorrow ushers in the weekend, and if you head
to Ecco in East Boston right now, you can usher in the ushering with $4-$5 appetizers like Shortrib
Shumai, Ahi Tuna Tartare and Grilled Lamb Rib Chops. Amazingly, this deal is good
seven days a week.

NAKED LUNCH
Brasserie JO's Lingerie Lunch
Lunch. Good when it gets you out of the office, better when numerous half-naked women strut around you in
slinky lingerie. The latter is happening tomorrow at Brasserie JO, where they'll be complementing your meal
with a no-holds-barred lingerie exhibition. This is far superior to eating at your desk and watching
YouTube.

Feb 5, noon-2pm, Brasserie JO at
The Colonnade, 120 Huntington Ave, 617-425-3240
UD HOOKUP: Bring a printout of the Weekender and land a complimentary appetizer.
This weekend marks the start of the National Toboggan Championships (finally). Should you not be
competing Saturday, you can still catch the action, hit the slopes (tubing included) and take in a chili
showdown. We recommend sniffing out house parties with the locals by staying for the night, unless you plan
to be back in Camden soon.
Fort Point Channel isn't exactly awash in numerous brunch options, so we're pleased to inform you that
Sportello is blowing open its brunch doors every weekend starting this Saturday. Look forward to Pain
Perdu (aka French toast), Semolina Pancakes and Bloody Marys created with a secret recipe
borrowed from Drink downstairs. How neighborly.

Weekends starting Feb 6, 10:30am-4:30pm, Sportello, 348 Congress St, 617-737-1234
Colts fans. Saints fans. Who cares. At the end of the day, we're all one people...who love killer chili. If
you head to Somerville on Sunday, you can take in the majesty that is the chili cook-off at Olde Magoun's
Saloon. Enter your own chili (a gallon should do it) and land a free T-shirt, or just eat a ton of chili for
three hours. Your call.
