Well, it’s almost the new year.

Which means, among other things, that now is as good a time as any to come up with a resolution.

Something like “I will not eat burgers with buns made out of fried macaroni and cheese in 2014.”

Great. That gives you 19 more days to eat burgers with buns made out of fried macaroni and cheese.

Just glide into the Russell House Tavern and ask for the Secret Burger—it’s exactly what you just resolved against up there, and it’s available for a month or so startiiing... now.

You might be asking yourself what’s wrong with the standard, time-tested bun. The answer: its design is flawed. Because it’s not made out of macaroni and cheese. But thankfully, the mad burger scientists at Russell House Tavern have finally corrected this error.

It starts out innocently enough. With beef. Which then gets topped with sriracha aioli, onions and a tomato that was smoked for 45 minutes. Which then gets sandwiched between two breaded, fried patties of mac and cheese made with cheddar, mozzarella and pecorino (plus some prosciutto for good measure).

Right. And then the whole thing gets drizzled with truffle oil.

Like it matters.
