HAPPY BROTHERS DAY

Whoa. Take It Easy, Miller Brothers.

Day one of summer just happened. So many cookouts and patio parties left to go. So maybe take a moment to pop into Miller Brothers and have yourself 30% to 75% off things like Eton button-downs, Agave jeans and Alden shoes. Summer, the official season of moments.

SPIKE-MINDED

Bourbon plus Italian Ice. We’ll Go On...

Italians are great at making Italian ice. And apparently Davio’s is great at one-upping them by infusing Italian ice with things like tequila and oven-roasted pineapples, and the occasional bourbon strawberry. Teamwork.

Available through Aug 31, $4, Davio’s, 3500 Peachtree Rd NE, 404-844-4810

SCALES DEPARTMENT

In Case You Like Food and T.I.

T.I.’s new restaurant just dropped. It’s called Scales 925, and it’s full of tufted booths, dangly chandeliers, short ribs and red velvet whoopie pies. Also, it’s T.I.’s restaurant.

Saturday
A Big Old Block Party at Terminal West
BLOCK JAMS

A Big Old Block Party at Terminal West

Terminal West is throwing its first block party this Saturday. Come prepared for cold beers, a Sloppy Jose (that’s a sloppy joe with chorizo), art installations and musical acts like Ruby Velle & the Soulphonics. It’s a big block.

Tuesday
Lunchtime Pierogies at Joystick
POLISH POSITION

Lunchtime Pierogies at Joystick

Starting Tuesday, you’ll be able to walk into Joystick around lunchtime and walk away with pierogies in hand. That’s because a new takeaway service called Babcia’s Pierogies will be in-house making gratifying things like potato pierogies and six-hour-braised-oxtail pierogies. Finally, someone found the oxtail-braising sweet spot.
