Hobnob Is Smoking a Few Things for You

Each Monday and Thursday starting today, you can arrive on the patio at Hobnob and sit and watch as they roll a smoker outside and prepare you a rotating à la carte menu of protein-centric goodness. Thursdays will have live music. Mondays will just have meat. Meat should be enough.

Mondays and Thursdays, 5pm till the meat is gone, Hobnob, 1551 Piedmont Ave NE, 404-968-2288

Friday
John Lennon Made These Things
JOHN BABY JOHN

John Lennon Made These Things

You’ve got one weekend to show up to an art gallery with your date. Then leave that art gallery with your date and a piece of art by John Lennon, signed by Yoko. And in between you enjoy some gratis beer and wine. Oh great, one of those weekends.

Come for Sushi. Stay for Burlesque.
TEASE AND THANK YOU

Come for Sushi. Stay for Burlesque.

Things seen while eating sushi: paintings of koi fish, others eating sushi, burlesque dancers. The last one’s new. Tomorrow, show up at Genki around midnight to catch some late-night sushi, noodles and ladies with pasties and whatnot. They’ll dance. You’ll drink sake. Everyone wins. But mostly you.

Saturday
Two Anniversary Parties. Both Are Nice.

Two Anniversary Parties. Both Are Nice.

We’ve got two anniversary parties for you on Saturday. Here’s the breakdown.

Smokebelly BBQ: They’re celebrating their first anniversary with $3 shandies, live music and a whole hog roast.
The Optimist: They’re celebrating their third anniversary with Sazeracs, crawfish pies and a crawfish race. Yes, we said crawfish race.

Eat. Drink. Listen. Hang with Rathbuns.
RATH’ TIME

Eat. Drink. Listen. Hang with Rathbuns.

The brothers Rathbun want you to come hang out with them and some of the South’s rising chefs and designers. Bring a date. Eat some food. Dance to some live music. Then compliment everyone on their fine work. You would have done all that anyway.
