A New Place to Drink Whiskey

“Hey, a lucky penny.”
—You on a normal day.
“Hey, like a million lucky pennies.”
—You when you enter the Pennywise Room, a tiny, new semisecret bar next to Buckhead’s Red Door Tavern. Oh, right. The floor’s completely covered with pennies. That’s why we did the quotes.

Now open, Pennywise Room, 3180 Roswell Rd NW, 404-846-6525

A Jail-Themed Burger Truck. Delightful.
ON THE WAGON

A Jail-Themed Burger Truck. Delightful.

Next time you see a gold-toothed man busting out of brick and barbed wire, run to him. It’s just the artwork on the side of the Patty Wagon, a new food truck with fried corn, soft-serve and burgers like the maple-glazed-bacon-topped Bootlegger. Now you get it.

—The servers wear kilts.
—They bring you Scotch eggs, fish-and-chips and layered beers.
—Unless you bypass them for the “Pour Your Own Beer” wall upstairs.
—Do that.

FALL GUY

Your New Fall Suit Will See You Now

In about six weeks, an Italian suit will be delivered to your door. It’ll conform perfectly to the contours of your body. It’ll be some fall color like pumpernickel or green. It’ll be because you went to Coppley’s trunk show at Guffey’s. It’ll be a great, great day.

Monday
Oh, Heavens. It’s a Little Hot Dog Cart.
DOG ALERT

Oh, Heavens. It’s a Little Hot Dog Cart.

Starting Monday, you’ll find a simple red hot dog cart on the Beltline behind Paris on Ponce. They’ll just be sitting there taking beef dogs or spicy sausages, putting them in buns and topping them with things like broccoli-habanero or chipotle hummus. Because that’s how hot dogs work.
