Red Hare Brewing Rears Its Beautiful Head

None
None For the sake of argument, let’s say you like beer.

One could only assume that if a new brewery popped up somewhere, you’d want to know about it.

Well, one just popped up... in Marietta.

The good news: the ITP import business is alive and well.

Which means that tonight and in the weeks to come, you’ll be able to find Atlanta’s newest homegrown suds from Red Hare Brewing Company in a select few watering holes throughout the city.

First, a brief history of how this all came to be. One day, two guys named Bobby and Roger started tinkering with hops and whatnot in their basement. Turned out, they were good at it. So they launched a brewery (told you we’d be brief).

They’d be happy to invite you out there for a tour and a tasting. And it’s an invite you should accept. But if you’re looking for instant gratification (like you do), you’ll find it at the Square Pub and the Bucket Shop tonight or Hop City starting tomorrow, where they’ll be topping off pints and growlers, respectively, with the ever-hoppy Gangway IPA and a malty amber number called Long Day Lager.

They’ve also got a few other brews on deck—Whabbit Wheat and Double Thumper Imperial IPA—which you can expect to be popping up in spots all over town in the next few weeks.

And just like that, Marietta puts one on the board.
