Now that you’re thinking golf...

We’ll tee up GottaGolf, a new Georgia-based app that teams you with other players, schedules rounds and turns golf social media into a thing, available now for iPhone.

You’ll start by answering some questions. Are you a golf addict or do you just need an excuse to drink beer and smoke cigars at 9am? There’s no wrong answer.

That’s when it turns into the Tinder for golf. Sorry. Photos and profiles of other golfers in your area will appear. You’ll commence with the swiping and the small talk (mulligans, this... Michelle Wie, that), all in hopes of setting up a round with your new friend(s).

Or maybe you and seven of your already-established friends want to play Wolf Creek at 11am, three Saturdays from now. You can all log on, accept an invitation, organize your own groupings and then prepay in the app.

And during the round, everyone can post photos from the course to the newsfeed, which will inevitably be used for smack talk.

Or just to say hi.
