Atlanta Blood Dinner

There Will Be Blood

A Dinner Consisting Mostly of Blood

None Remember Halloween... It was that thing that happened like two days ago.

Well, it got us thinking.

About candy. Which then got us thinking about nougat. Nougat’s good. Especially when it’s covered in milk chocolate. Maybe some caramel. A few roasted peanuts.

Wait, what were we talking about...

Oh yeah, here’s an eight-course dinner made out of blood.

Get ready for the Atlanta Blood Dinner, a feast where every single dish contains some form of blood (yes, at least one ox was harmed in the making of this meal), taking reservations now for November 15 at Livingston.

Why? Well, because you can. Also, because some veteran chefs from Abattoir, Empire State South, STG and, yes, Livingston decided it would be a good idea if they all got together and cooked a bunch of stuff seasoned with hemoglobin. Stuff like eel-blood dashi, blood sausage over barrel-cured apples and ox strozzapretti. That’s hand-rolled pasta with a rabbit sugo. And blood.

But hey, otherwise, it’s really just your regular old dinner party. You’ll bring a date (one who’s not faint of heart). You’ll have some cocktails (those’ll be blood-free... probably). You’ll converse with a few strangers (there’ll only be like a 22% chance they’re vampires). And then, at around 8pm, you’ll sit down to dinner. Hopefully with a bib.

Because blood stains.
