Plan B
The Incredibly French Sequel to F.A.B.

Not too long ago, you lost someone.

It was a downtown mussels-slinging brasserie. (Hey, you cry easily.)

Well, today we’re here to tell you that this sob story has a happy ending.

Because that brasserie... it’s been reincarnated.

Meet F & B, a French-as-ever spiritual successor to the dearly departed F.A.B., slated to soft-open next Monday at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Buckhead.

Yes, this place is first-date material. (It’s French, sort of goes with the territory.) So if you’re trying to get intimate with a Parisian who makes chain-smoking look attractive... or a plate of grilled octopus (we won’t judge)... this is your scene. Jazzy lounge music. Barkeeps in suspenders. Worn wood beams reclaimed from a Colorado barn. (One man’s barn is another man’s restaurant floor.)

Come here late. On a summer night. And carve out a spot for two anywhere you can find seats. By the floor-to-ceiling windows. On the barely-there veranda. Under a dangling black chandelier in the main dining room. Then, get a bucket (or several) of mussels. Also, some duck pâté. Congratulations, you just got a second date.

And for that, we’d suggest coming back here. Again. For lunch. Start with a round of Mimms (champagne and raspberry puree) and end with the lunch-only lamb sandwich on olive bread.

Congratulations. You just got yourself a third date.
