It's a rock club. It's a bar. It's a clothing boutique of printed T-shirts and hand-painted denim. It's also a Coney Island game room. It's one of the craziest retail concepts we've heard of in awhile. It's called Kingdom, and it's opening tonight in Brooklyn for friends and family. This being Williamsburg, the whole neighborhood qualifies as friends and family.

WATER TAXI

Game-Day Boating

Midnight disco cruises up the Hudson are not the only reason you'll be getting on a boat this spring. Departing from Wall Street's Pier 11, NY Water Taxi has free boats heading to Yankee Stadium and Citi Field on game days. Some people might prefer the subway. But we've never met those people.

Second Coming of Polaroid

There are 300 million Polaroid cameras in the world and zero Polaroid film makers. Until now. An art company called the Impossible Project bought the last Polaroid film factory and this Friday celebrates the return of pre-digital spontaneity with wine, cheese and the only new supply of Polaroid film left for sale. Expect photo shoots that will never be posted on Facebook.

Tacos and Tequila Times Five

Cienfuegos is the new baby in the family, but for Cinco de Mayo celebrations, the Death & Co crew are calling on their tequila bar Mayahuel to come up with five new taco variations paired with five tequilas. There's also five new chili peppers. In case the tequila fire wasn't hot enough for you.
