![]() ITCHSeven Years at Sona
To celebrate a seven-year anniversary, seven courses of course—from Hamachi with Edamame
Puree to Roasted Duck with Wasabi to Chocolate Beignets with Pumpkin Confit. The
cost, as you may have guessed, is $77.
RESERVEDLudobites at Royal/T
Acclaimed/tattooed chef Ludovic Lefebvre kept busy this year goosing diners with spontaneous modern fare
like Foie Gras Black Croque Monsieurs at his pop-up kitchen behind the Breadbar stoves. And now
that he's taking over our favorite
Japanese-maid café for 13 nights, you can expect the plates to be as surreal as the scenery.
![]() FINALEDessert and a Shot at Nobu
When dinner comes to a close, there's only one way to finish things off. Not dessert—a shot. Okay,
maybe both. After your dinner at Nobu, they're now offering a Kabocha Crème (it involves
Japanese pumpkin) paired with a shot of gin, spicy pumpkin puree, milk and nutmeg. 'Tis the season.
![]() CANDLESThis Week's Wildest 83rd Birthday Party
To celebrate the 83rd year in the life of the confounding artist Rachel Rosenthal (if you haven't given her
some sort of award, you're probably the only one), you'll find a bizarre blowout including a silent auction
of 83 works by the likes of Baldessari and Rauschenberg. The evening's wines—Bitch Grenache
and Pure Evil Chardonnay.
![]() MASTERSGreat Chefs and UD
The 800-pound gorilla of tasting events beats its mighty chest this weekend, with help from Benjamin "Ford's
Filling Station" Ford, Celestino "Drago Centro" Drago, Neal "Grace" Fraser—and plenty of beer, wine,
tequila and gin. But probably not 800 pounds' worth. Probably.
