Tonight kicks off a week of Italian film and parties beginning with a screening of Parlami d'Amore (Talk to Me About Love), a story of Italians seducing each other (one of our favorite topics). Ben Watts Book Party at the Mondrian

Rock star photographer, sometimes DJ and brother of actress Naomi, Ben Watts will be holding court at the Mondrian's Sunset Friday party celebrating his latest book of photographs, Lickshot, as well as the release of Morgans Hotel Group's new CD (he did the cover art), which we hear is one of the best hotel albums of the year.

Bargain Burgers at Steak 954

Stephen Starr's bastion of beef at the W Ft. Lauderdale just slashed the price on its signature burger and fries to a namesake-worthy $9.54, making this a very attractive lunch option next time you're enjoying the beach culture up north. (As always, seared meat and bikinis transcend county lines.)
