Champagne and Shiatsu at David Barton
Mondays and Tuesdays are half off for Miami locals at this cavernous Moroccan body temple, and there's
complimentary champagne. Meaning you can go for the one-hour Barton Detox, a combo of Swedish,
shiatsu and stretching for $75, and have your run of the spa's private pool and steam bath (plus the gym),
all while getting slightly soused.
A Full Week of $50 Rubdowns
Monday also kicks off a week of rubdown mania, with many of the city's finest spas offering treatments for a
substantially discounted $50. Standouts include 45 minutes of aromatherapy at the Four Seasons, 45 minutes
of body-scrubbing at the Standard and a 100-minute Caribbean hand/foot treatment at the Palms Aveda (no one
knows how to rub a hand like the Caribbeans…no one).
A Lot of Bliss for Not a Lot
If you're around Fort Lauderdale in the next month, you'll want to stop by the W's Bliss spa—and not
just for the free brownies. You'll get 20 percent off any treatment an hour or longer, which means their
blissage 75 (a 75-minute rubdown, capped by a warm wax foot-softening wrap) is $120, and their
60-minute hot foot pedicure is just $56.
Getting Special Treatment at the Ritz
From now until the end of the month, mention UrbanDaddy when booking at the Ritz spa, and you'll be treated
to a special rate of $100 for either the 50-minute Key Biscayne Signature Massage or the Key
Biscayne Signature Facial (both regularly $145). Leaving you with the signature two twenties and a five
in your wallet.
A Full Day of Spa-ing for a Twenty
For those days when all you need are steam baths, sauna sessions and quality time in a robe, there's the
Mondrian spa's Passport to Pampering pass, where for the price of a cocktail at some South Beach
bars (or a really expensive latte) you get access to the hotel gym and the swanky white-on-white spa for the
entire day.
