![]() POP-UPJack White's New Record Store
For three days only, you'll find a bright yellow pop-up store pushing everything from the Jack White
oeuvre—and rarities from other bands on his label. Inside one copy of his latest album is a trip to
Nashville. So you could buy them all, or just buy a ticket.
SHOUTEat What You Watch at STK
Gordon Ramsay may no longer be at
Gordon Ramsay, but you can still find him on TV. And since
STK's sous chef is a Hell's Kitchen contestant, they're adding a special each Wednesday based
on the previous night's episode. But we're almost sure they won't scream in your face.
![]() SHAVEDWhite Truffles at Cecconi's
Italy's extremely rainy season means you get your white truffles early this year—even before the
Italians, since it's illegal to sell them there until September.
Cecconi's has them now, and will shave them over scrambled eggs in the morning, or later over gnocchi,
or tagliolini, or risotto. Or all of the above.
GOOD TASTEUnder One Umbrella at the Mark
At this surreal food-and-drink blowout, they want you to think you're at a gallery and the food is the
art—installations include a gourmet potato chip bar, a retro candy bar and…bars. Among the
freaky liquid masterpieces is a Micro Basil Gimlet, arriving with a liquid-nitrogen bite formed in
stainless-steel rings. Haven't seen Koons do that.
![]() PRE-GAMEDodger Days at Allston Yacht Club
Any time the Dodgers are playing at home, drop by AYC on the way for some Scorched Sheshito Peppers
and a beer. Or maybe some Crispy Parmesan Cheese Frico and a cocktail. Either pairing is
$10—which, if not a home run, is a solid double.
