The competitive eaters of Coney Island get the glory, but they'd be nothing without a numerically capable,
aesthetically pleasing lass behind them to keep track of their hot-dog count. Nathan's is putting a few
candidates through the qualifying paces this weekend, in a combination beauty pageant, reality show and math
test. There's nothing like a girl who's handy with arithmetic. And buns.

The Village fromager just opened the best thing to happen to downtown lunch since the taco cart: a
