Travel season is upon us and we here at Perks think you deserve more...or actually, a lot less. So we're
taking a round three-digit number off your flight. We're just good like that.

Hot times call for frosty measures, so JT is adding a few icier options to his Soho shop—specifically,
an in-store cart that'll dole out more than a dozen flavors of frozen delights. Soft-serve sorbet and a
caramel-rum vanilla swirl are go, but nothing says summer romance like a little powdered cocoa.
  SAND TRAPWater Taxi Beach at South Street Seaport
The Water Taxi Beach Empire expands to a Coney Island–esque beach party in the seaport, with a little
help from a former Studio 54 DJ, a battery of skee-ball machines and a staggering amount of sand. Think of
it as a more conveniently located Hamptons—give or take an estate or two.
  ON THE ROOFRooftop Season Begins
The rooftop season kicks off in full as the members'-only A60 reopens for business. If you've somehow
misplaced your access card—check your summer '08 blazer—there are always another few months of
scenic grilling and cabana-side carousing at Highbar. Choices, choices…
  VELOCITYVeloce Pizzeria Opens in E Vill
The wine bar formerly known as Solex is getting a longer name and a new secret weapon: pizza. The familiar
wavy ceilings and deco trappings will now be sharing space with checkered tables, fresh slices and the
occasional semi-soused pepperoni-seeker with a taste for malbec.
