A Sangria Specialist With Bellagio Fountain Views

Your Next Crazy Vegas Night Begins at Alexxa's

And now, a list of things you’ve encountered in Vegas that are worthy of applause (in no particular order):

  1. That life-saving slice of pizza you took down somewhere around 4am.
  2. Someone waking up in bed with their shoes on.
  3. The sangria at Alexxa’s, which helped jumpstart this whole late pizza-eating, shoe-sleeping state to begin with.

That's Alexxa's, the Spanish-styled, sangria virtuoso now open next to Hexx Kitchen inside Paris Hotel & Casino. Take a look.

Here's a good spot to start your Strip adventures. You can come in with friends or a date and post up on one of the blue sofas out on the outdoor patio. That way you'll get your fix of the Bellagio fountains, amplified Sinatra and booze before the trip's barely started.

There are nine sangria options here, like winter spiced pinot noir with stone fruit or the Pinky Swear with Asian pear, hibiscus and grenache. You can get individual glasses of the stuff. Or share it by the pitcher.

Or you can get something else. Like the Old Fashioned variation named Misty or a punch bowl filled with rum, moscato and white peach called the Revolution. Whatever you want.

You don't even need a wake word.

On a typical Wednesday, Ginger Harris is likely seeking reposado tequila, squeezing her way to the front of a concert or jumping on the back of an Indian motorcycle. That’s just Wednesdays, though.
